A fifteen-year music industry veteran, Eric
Welton took to the decks as DJ Emmaculate
in 1990. Influenced by several local DJs in
his hometown of Elgin, Illinois, Eric fell
in love with the attractive mystique of dance
music. Soulful and energetic, his style is
deep and dance floor driven, new sounds mixed
with classics. In addition to the dance realm,
Eric is also immersed in hip hop and R &
B, having played alongside the late Jam Master
Jay, Twilite Tone, Jesse De La Pena, Kelly
G., his fellow 3° residents and many others.
He currently holds residencies at Chicago’s
Café Allure and, as a 3° resident
since 2003, plays monthly at the Ultra Lounge
at Zentra. In addition, Eric is part of the
production team Aid to the SouLLess with Julius
“the Mad Thinker” and FLX. Their
first release is scheduled to hit the
streets in mid-2005 on the acclaimed West
End Records. Eric is also a co-owner of the
Chicago-based Conglomerate Music Corp., an
independent hip hop and R & B label, where
he handles the majority of music production. |
