has been with Felix from the start, starting
with record shopping at the age of 8 with
his mother and his first dj gig from his father
at 15. "It is from these beginnings that
I have come to believe that Music is the key
to happiness. I believe in 'format presentation';
programming selections that fit the times,
phrasing the music into a masterpiece, manipulating
sound to create a feeling, matching beats
to be recognized and understood." Having
created a place for himself and his soulful
sound in places like Hawaii and San Francisco's
underground, DJ FLX now finds his home in
Chicago. "The idea to play across the
country was nothing compared to the honor
of being invited to become part of the 3 Degrees
House Family. This most influential environment
reeks of talent, allowing all the pieces to
come together. This is where house lives."
