In
1993, Double o7(aka Freddy Williams), left
the burbs behind for a career in the "biz"
in Washington, D.C. laying the "foundation"
for what was to come. Landing gigs at raves
and house parties along the way, Double o7
perfected his skill with the inclusion of
blending Afro-centric rhythms with deep and
soulful house, while developing a keen sense
for promotions and event production.
In 2001 Williams teamed up with fellow dj
and business partner Ray Kang to form KNEE
DEEP, DC's longest running house weekly with
over 200 consecutive events to their credit.
During this time Double o7 also produced segments
for XM RADIO'S "Bass Blocks" on
channel 80 - The Move. As fate worked its
magic, Double o7 became a member of 3 DEGREES
GLOBAL in 2003. He has since caught the attention
of house music connoisseurs nationwide with
performances in Chicago, Miami, and New York;
along side East Coast Boogieman, King Britt,
Stacy Kidd, Demarkes Lewis, Justin Long, and
Lance DiSardi just to name a few... In Washington
DC Double o7 currently holds down weekly residencies
Friday's @ Blue Room, and monthly @ Andalu.
In Virginia bi-weekly @ Gua Rapo; not to mention
guest appearances at The Sanctuay, Red, &
Club FIVE.
